About the Praespero Mini-Grants Program

At SketchMore ThinkMore, giving back to the community is an important part of our work. We have a dedicated mini-grant program geared specifically toward youth who view challenges in their community through a lens of solutions. Just as sketching out ideas makes the abstract tangible, so, too do mini-grants bring ideas into the realm of possibility. 

Our mini-grant program is called Praespero because we are in the business of building hope and creating opportunities for hope to exist. Once that hope exists, informed action ideally ensues, and sometimes we all simply need a boost for that critical next step. SketchMore ThinkMore will donate a percentage of all its earnings toward the mini-grant program. 

Leadership, environmental awareness, budgeting, and community involvement are core values of this program, with the aim of solving challenges and fueling hope. 

Mission

Our mission is to encourage students of all ages to consider their community through eyes of hope, curiosity, responsibility, and solutions-oriented thinking in order to make it a better place for all.

Vision

We want students to be curious about the world around them; responsible for other people, resources, and the environment; and empowered to make a difference as emerging or growing student leaders.

Deadline + Grant Focus

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis from U.S. and international students. Current focus for proposals: 

Environmental engagement. How will your project enhance, improve, or otherwise make better a facet of your local environment?
